General Discussion, Future Direction
In this lesson we will review what we have covered in this book
and discuss your progress and practice.
Review
In this guide we presented the basic psychic concepts. We emphasized
the importance of connecting to God, introduced meditation and showed
how necessary it is to develop our psychic abilities and to record
our experiences in a psychic journal. We discussed blocks, misconceptions
about psychics and what it is like to be psychic. We talked about
psychic awareness, identifying the source of our vibes and psychic
messages.
We explained the seven chakras, how to ground your energy and discussed
the aura. We showed how important it is for psychics to pray often,
and we introduced Spirit guides and Angels.
We then described how to give a psychic reading and provided an
introduction to the psychic tools, starting with Playing cards,
then progressing to Runes, the pendulum, the Tarot, I-Ching oracle,
basic palmistry, and some psychometry.
This material was covered in a short period of time. The aim of
the first volume of The Psychic’s Guide was to introduce beginning
students to the basic concepts of being psychic and developing the
Sixth Sense, and to the psychic tools, including psychometry. Obviously
there is more to being psychic than what meets the eye, and if prejudice
and stereotypes can be lifted as a result of information transmitted
in this book, then a great part of our mission has been accomplished.
