Misconceptions
about Psychics, Psychic Awareness
In this lesson we will discuss misconceptions about psychics and psychic
awareness.
Lightworkers or outcasts?
Psychics are generally misunderstood or misjudged. Most people see
psychics as being fakes — impostors trying to extort money from
people in exchange for false or fake readings. Unfortunately, there are
many fraudulent and abusive people who will pose as psychics to take
advantage of people’s vulnerability. But there must be a word of caution not
to generalize all psychics as mere fortune tellers trying to earn a profit. Real
psychics work for God and have a mission to fulfil on Earth, which is to help
others and to spread God’s Light into the world. That is why psychics are also
called Lightworkers.
Fraudulent psychics are not psychic at all. They are simply greedy people
who abuse the situation. There are people like that in all walks of life, not just
among psychics.
Some people may think of psychics as being extravagant or bizarre
individuals who wear turbans, many bracelets and carry a crystal ball. Even
though the Romanian gypsies are reputed to be very keen psychics who use
playing cards, not all psychics necessarily fit that stereotype.
There is no white magic or black magic when developing your psychic
abilities. Magic consists of spell casting and reciting incantations in order to
cause a shift in reality in our favor. Psychics do not need to do that. As
psychics we do not manipulate, control or force events or things to happen in
our favor just because it suits us. That would be an act of selfishness.
Psychics are supposed not to cast spells or set curses...
