From that first visit to Patty’s, Jordan’s behavior
was remarkable during consultations and he always played beautifully
by himself. I even thought that she might not believe all of what
I had to tell her regarding his violent behavior. I remember being
struck by a moment while he was occupied with the blocks and thinking
how awesome he was and how much he was going to teach me. He suddenly
looked up at me and smiled so knowingly, I felt taken out of the
moment and to a place of realization. It was almost as if he looked
at me to say, “I was wondering how long it would take before
you brought us here!”
I felt in that moment that Jordan knew where we were and why. That
it was somehow predestined and I was just fulfilling an intended
role in his life. The outcome was written and it was up to me to
just participate and trust. I knew I could let go, I didn’t
have to will him better anymore all by myself.
At the end of the session, Patty gave us a warm hug good-bye and
we went off with two little dropper bottles for Jordan’s emotional
issues and a little coin envelope with two powder remedies for his
most recent timeline event, which was the latest surgery to remove
the impacted stool.
